Happy Independence Week, Jennifer!

I love this article. I need to incorporate more weightlifting into my workouts. It's not too late to start new fitness goals!

In California, we do have a few coffee growers on the coast. You can learn about them here: https://frinjcoffee.com/

While I haven't visited the farms, I look forward to exploring them someday. I visited Kona Coffee a few years back and would love to learn about the differences between growing in the islands versus here on the mainland. Hope this helps!

Ahh, thanks Rachelle! It would be awesome to know if coffee could be a viable crop in CA and I hope/wonder that's what UC Davis is doing here. Thanks for the link. In checking out Frinj they say, "The coffee plant is grown differently in California than anywhere else in the world. First and foremost, the coffee fruit takes up to 12 months to mature — twice as long as mass-market coffee. California’s long summers and short winters make the coffee fruit some of the sweetest in the world, replicating high mountain-grown coffees in the tropics." I want to try.
