Allison or anyone in the know: From a consumer standpoint, does Grocery Outlet get reimbursed from manufacturers for returns made by consumers? There are a string of reports of local Grocery Outlets mistreating consumers for having returns with receipt, non-excessively/non-abusively, and aside from this being unprofessional, this suggests that Grocery Outlet owners take a loss with returns. True?

Hi! Thanks so much for the question. We have a policy that allows stores to get full credit on customer returns, so these returns do not come out of the independent operator's pocket. We have a return policy of 30 days with receipt to the store the product was purchased at for full value. Thank you!
