This newsletter has come to your inbox reliably, every Wednesday, for 172 weeks – FOR FREE. Some of you have been with me that entire time, others more recently. If you’ve received any amount of value out of being here, today’s post is for you.
Some of you have generously pledged to support this newsletter by paid subscription but I’ve decided to keep it free. Today I’m asking, instead of a paid subscription, consider donating to my non-profit Positively Good Snacks.
What’s Positively Good Snacks?
Here’s the story.
As my mom sat in an infusion chair at El Camino Cancer Center for hours and hours at a time, a complimentary snack cart rolled by offering typical vending machine fare – stale cookies, sugary candy, greasy chips – a cruel contradiction to the battle being waged.
I decided that instead of junk food, there should be items that nourish body and spirit during those long, sterile days. So, I reached out to some of you building brands (not for donations but for wholesale pricing) to help stock the snack cart…
And my wish came true –
Thanks to these brands (and others) for jumping in!
But I’m just one donor.
My ask from you
Please consider giving so we can purchase more snacks. Every tax-deductible donation helps keep those carts stocked. Don’t know how much to give? Consider $1 for every week you’ve been with me. All donors receive a tax receipt. Learn more. Donate here.
Because let's face it, cancer sucks. But in the face of it, a little treat can fuel positivity. And that’s what Positively Good Snacks is all about.
Please forward this to friends. Remember, even the smallest donation makes a difference.
If you are a brand interested in becoming a vendor, here’s how.
With gratitude,
Jennifer
